Shawn Cozz is a retired U.S. Army Iraq War veteran with over a decade of service, bringing unmatched realism to the screen. As a former Intelligence Officer or Human Intelligence Collector, he specialized in gathering intelligence, including interrogation, managing informants, and conducting undercover operations. His expertise also extends to surveillance and counter-surveillance, making him a unique asset in both real-life operations and on screen. Cozz has completed several advanced interrogation schools, further refining his skills in this area. His military training also includes Military Police training as that was his first career during his first 2 years of enlistment.

Following his military career, Cozz served as an Intelligence Contractor with the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and Homeland Security Investigations, where he continued to refine his tactical abilities.

He is also Georgia SWAT qualified, having completed Georgia POST-certified SWAT school, making him a sought-after tactical consultant for major film productions.

Cozz has trained actors for high-profile series such as Lionsgate/Starz’s “Black Mafia Family” and various HBO productions, ensuring that every scene remains true to real-world tactics. He has also appeared as a SWAT extra in films such as “Solace,” starring Colin Farrell and Anthony Hopkins, and “Let’s Be Cops.” He has even been on set to train actors to look the part for one of the most popular military video games of all time “Call of Duty”.
